Mickey Mouse Celluloid Pencil Holder 1930's

Mint celluloid Mickey. I'm not sure what the original intended use was for this piece but have been told it is a pencil holder.   Mickey's head moves and he has a cloth bow tie. There is a moon shaped rest at Mickey's feet and a pink tube on the back of this piece.  Not found in any of the books we have. A rare piece. Mickey measures 3-1/4" tall.
